Wanaut events platform

An events platform lives or dies on discovery, trust, and payment. We shipped all three.

Wanaut is an events & ticketing platform. I led the product team — establishing the structures and workflows the team ran on, shipping improvements, and launching features across four products.

Featured Events

Organizers wanted more visibility; the platform wanted recurring revenue. Featured Events answered both — a placement product that boosts an event's visibility, engagement and conversions, and opened a new revenue stream that increased ARR.

Redesigning discovery

Content discovery was the platform's core loop, and it had grown crowded. We ran a global redesign — reworking user journeys, flows and UI/UX so that finding the right event takes seconds, not scrolling.

Invoicing without the errors

Behind every ticket sold is an invoice, and the old process produced too many mistakes. We redesigned invoicing end to end, simplifying the flow and cutting errors for organizers.

Seat management, at stadium scale

In collaboration with the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF), we built seat selection and management for stadium events — the kind of feature where every edge case has forty thousand witnesses.

Pay in cash

A large share of Moroccan users prefer paying in cash — so we met them there. Together with Cashplus, we launched a Pay in Cash option that removed the platform's biggest conversion barrier.

The features people remember are the ones that removed a reason not to buy a ticket.
