GoRide car rental marketplace

Renting a car in Morocco meant phone calls and luck. We made it a marketplace.

GoRide is Morocco's online car rental marketplace — find, compare and book vehicles from trusted agencies across the country's major cities. I managed the project from the first idea to full launch, working closely with designers, developers and the CTO to create a simple, reliable platform.

From idea to launch

Idea-to-launch means owning every ambiguity: what the marketplace lists, how agencies come on board, what "trusted" means in a market that runs on word of mouth. My job was keeping designers, developers and the CTO pointed at one product vision while the answers kept changing underneath us.

The marketplace mechanics

The renter side is deliberately boring: search, compare, book. The hard part is the supply side — vetted local agencies, honest availability, and pricing a traveler can trust without a phone call. Get that right and the simple front end earns its simplicity.

A marketplace is a promise between strangers. The product's job is to make that promise feel safe.
